TransferIN.net is the home of Indiana’s Core Transfer Library and the premier resource for information on college course transferability. To better address the needs of TransferIN.net users, the Commission for Higher Education recently revamped the Web site to provide more user-friendly access.
“After reviewing the analytics of the site and receiving feedback from students, parents and counselors, we decided to change the navigation,” Catisha Coates, special projects coordinator for the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, said. “We wanted to target the correct audience and provide the easiest and fastest way for them to attain information.”
Although navigation was the main focus of the redesign, information regarding dual credit transferability also received some modification.
“Since dual credit has been an up-and-coming topic, we added more definition to that particular page. We also added more information specific to the Independent Colleges of Indiana,” Coates said.
With reconstruction fully complete, the new TransferIN.net currently is available to help students and counselors obtain information about dual credit transferability.
